Similar in design to the Typhoon Direct Drive and Gear Drive portable mixers, the Air Drive Typhoon is ideal for applications in hazardous locations or where variable speed is required.

Because of the infinite number of speeds available, several different combinations of shaft diameter and propeller sizes are available with each size unit, depending upon the nominal speed at which the unit is usually operated. Because of its design, however, an air motor will not be damaged if too large a propeller for the application is chosen, the unit will simply slow down as the load increases. Note: For all continuous duty applications, use of an air line oiler is recommended. These, together with air filters, moisture separators and pressure regulators are available as accessories.
